Holy crap. Curb stomping IS a thing. I mean a phenomenon. Or a practice. Here's the curb stomping search.

Ug, I've soured a little on this whole pigeon stomping thing, and I guess I can see why the cornell poster used "curb stomp" to describe almost crushing a pigeon. Still... OUCH.

I remember hearing about this practice from that one skinhead movie that came out a few years back. I never saw the movie.

Yeah, the third result google indexed because it has text near the rare term "pigeon stomping."

Oh wait no, it's actually the post right after the pigeon stomping post only on its own page, with a link to the pigeon stomping post. That's why it showed up in the Google index.

It describes a near pigeon stomping that's allegedly accidental.

Notice the term "curb stomp." Is this an actual term that people use to describe stomping a pigeon? I think we should research this.

In this video a good guy wrestler tries to stop a bad guy wrestler from feeding pigeons exploding food. (which reminds me of my friend Raf who used to feed alkaseltzer to birds to watch them explode... also another story of feeding alkaseltzer to sea gulls...)

The good guy wrestler gets his ass whooped and then there's an "an orgasmic pigeon stomping frenzy." The good guy comes back in the end.

So what we see here is the characterization of pigeon stomping as an inherantly though perhaps comically evil act.

I have never stomped a pigeon. I have had the urge, the compulsion, but it's never been something I've seriously considered. I suspect others have had this impulse, and suspect further that there may be some information on the web related to stomping on pigeons, and perhaps even some videos or pictures.

I'm going to do some research and then post again. I'll be right back.
